A Different Kind of Pumpkin Growing in Our Yard!

We have a different kind of pumpkin growing in our yard, well not really, but we like to think so!
This was an easy craft. Not only was it fun, but your able to personalize your tags. We chose Scripture to be the focus around our pumpkins.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever
~ Psalm 107:1

For us it is important to be reminded of God’s goodness and love in all that we do. We enjoy adding touches of HIM, and elements of joy to whatever we put our hands to. I believe it brings forth joy, even when times are difficult to be reminded of all we can be thankful for.

All you need for this craft is:

~Lunch sack size paper bag (cut off about 2 inches off the top to shorten height)
~Orange washable paint(paint entire bag, not inside )
~Brown washable paint(after oragne paint dries, paint from top of bag down 1 1/2 to make stem)
~Brown twine (punch holes in tag and leaf and lace twine through and tie it off, scruch top of bag and and wrap around top of bag,)
~Construction paper (to make leaf)
~Scrapbooking paper (for tags)I used the tops I cut off the bags for backing for the tags.
~Green pipe cleaners (for vine, wrap around stem and make it look curly, or as my 4 year old calls it “twirly whirly”)

Super self explanatory! Just look at the pictures and I think you’ll get the idea. Enjoy your pumpkins friends=)
